Hard Times?  Get paid to create an audio documentary about your experiences. CFRC’s “Below the Line” project is recruiting low-income participants to create sound stories about your experiences.

Receive free training in digital recording, multitrack editing, mic technique, narration, scriptwriting; free food and bus tickets for workshops; and free access to portable recorders and digital audio studios.  Plus, you will be paid a $250 honorarium upon completion of your sound story.

Workshops will take place weekly from August 9 – September 24, 2010 and the finished  productions will be broadcast on CFRC 101.9fm and other community radio stations, and installed at the Artel as part of the Poverty Conference 2010 in October.

All ages and backgrounds welcome!  We regret that CFRC’s studios are not wheelchair accessible at this time.  For more information or to apply, please contact Kristiana at 613-533-2121 or before August 3.
